Newbie question

Hello,

I'm just starting to organize my first army. I was wondering if increasing the unit frontage to 150 or 160mm would have a significant impact on the game? I would be providing both sides of the battle, so they would be based identically.

It will affect how far you can wheel which can sometimes be very important for getting into arc to charge or shoot.

It will increase the table size you'll need - there is a significant difference in how armies perform between the 15mm game and the 28mm game for instance which is partly down to the base size to table size ratio (but also movement distances).

Otherwise, if you're providing both sides then you should be fine. You will of course be excluding yourself from games with others down the line, if that matters.
