Hi everyone. I'm Angelo, living in Belgium. Painting and playing from Ancients to modern in 15mm since the early 80's.
It's been quite a while a possess Impetus 1 but now having at last played one game, I do like these rules. So I got Impetus 2 from WargameVault but I have some questions... I'm probably not reading well, missed some words or more but I would appreciate your help.

- are retreating troops from a melee Disorganised?
- how many melees can fight a pursuing unit, considering it can move and reach a valid ennemy?

- what about Impetuous troops? I can't find the rule forcing them to move as in Impetus 1.

- In Movement/Charges 5.7, there is a difference in charge : Rash or Maneuvered. I can't find any description of these charges. What are the requirements to qualify for one or the other?
thanks ;-)

Welcome.

Retreat from melee doesn’t disorganize. Well, they will be already disordered for losing the melee.
No melee limit. The combat ends for that turn when there is either a draw or the winner/pursuer doesn’t catch the loser or when one of the sides is destroyed.

The impetuous rules changed. Rules for them are:
- can form groups only with other impetuous of the same type.
- they have to make a discipline test (frenzy test – see 5.8 ) when charging as a group. If they fail then the charge is made unit by unit.
- they cannot do maneuvered charges
- pursuits are compulsory

Rash/Maneuvered: are charges where you interpenetrate friendly units before getting to the enemy. It’s a player choice which to perform (unless the chargers are impetuous).
