Newbie to Impetvs

Hi All,

I'm new to the system and have just bought the rules and the several 'Extras'. One question.....

With Great Italian Wars basing of pikes, with the Landsknetchs and Swiss being in 'large units' would it be ok to mount them on 80mmx80mm bases?

And I only have about 10 armies to re-base, including Baroque era lol

It's quite common to put large units on double-depth bases.

For pikes it's common to do a single normal depth and a single double depth - mounting the figures to the rear, allowing the extra space for levelled pikes.

At worst, if only using a single double depth base, you just have to remember when the rear unit has been lost - but worry not, your opponent WILL remember this minor detail for you.
