Belated report.
Fought battle using army lists and scenario amendments for Zama as per info under the section further down 'Battle reports & scenarios.
For the romans to win they have to defeat all 3 Gathiginian commands deployed one behind the other for the Carthiginians to win usual victory conditions.
The romans soon made a whole in the Carhiginian' s 1st command this gap was filled by 2 large umits of Gauls who charged into the Romans who fared badly with 3 successive 6's for their CT tests. This took the sting out of the Roman attack who did manage to destroy the 1st and 2nd Carhiginian commands but we're eventually overcome by the last command made up of Carthiginian
veteran heavy infantry.
A rare Carthiginian victory the Romans usually win this scenario.

Above shows armies just before 1st clashes. You can see that the Carhiginian general has refused his 2nd command by holding back citizen spearmen.

Above you can see mess made by gallic attack in centre finally beaten off by triari on left of picture.

The light horse you can see on the right of the picture are Libyian LC fighting for the Romans who after defeating their opposition are seen here skirmishing with the Carthiginians heavy foot.
