The Gap - Impetus & Baroque

Impetus army lists seem to peter out about 1525 and the Baroque rules say they are for 1550 - 1700. Seems to me there is going to be a gap. Which way to go?

You can play Samurai and Koreans to fill the gap

Or alternatively you can blame the Gregorian Calendar to be responsible for the gap.

Hi it is an interesting question and wonder what armies are you trying to play?

On the UK competition circuit there has been a good history of players using Italian Wars armies in Impetus competitions, I have played Swiss and know players have used French and Venetian armies. If you are stretching to the Western French Wars of Religion I think there will be army list released for this in Baroque some time.

As mentioned you can go later in Impetus with the Eastern Later samurai armies so that would take you up to 1615 ish with those armies.
