I suspect you dont play enough competition games

It is true the C-in Cs command could provide a really nasty flank march, but if that is the prime function it is seriously overweight. At 400 pts you could achieve almost as much damage \ disruption by just sending a single Expert General with a 6-3 or 7-4 CP on its own, at a fraction of the cost, ie 66 points compared to 178. One CP hitting the flank or rear can spell disaster. If anything I think this is the weakness of current Flank March rules, there probably should be a minimum size in VD as a % of the total army VD to prevent abuse (I am one of the abusers)

I'm not ruling it out of course but that command is really a battle command to break up or challenge similar impact troops, at least that's the plan

Getting ready for Saturday so I thought I'd better get the Romans out. Now my "hobby area" is a 6x2 mdf board used as a painting desk that can be cleared to play games on. It is supported by 3 storage crates stacked at each end with firther crates on top. Now would anyone like to hazard a guess as to whete the Romans are??

Ken what is the plan on the day - will you do a draw for the first round in advance? Matt, Tony and I are all coming up in one car, as a group Tony and I play each other quite regularly and also Matt and I, if you are considering that factor.

Otherwise looking forward to the day. Love the Caledonian list - is that the highest number of VD points possible in a 400 point list - I make it 13 large blocks of FL !!

Is it my imagination or are there some typo's in Paul's list? Command 1 I suspect a Regular Archer should be a Regular foot. Also command 1 is greater than 60%
