Difficult terrain and melee
Some questions to do with difficult ground and melee.
1. Under section 3.1.1 3) Difficult Terrain it says the “Leaving this ground does not lead to Disorder...” Does this mean that a unit that would be disordered if moving in difficult terrain could rally if stationary in the difficult terrain? Eg an H&M unit could rally if it were stationary in a wood and then leave in order.
2. It also states that “Other troops are disordered and get some penalties if they melee on this terrain”. Does this mean that an H&M unit that has rallied in a wood would become disordered if someone attacked it in there?
3. If an H&M unit attacks a unit in difficult terrain from outside of the difficult terrain would the attacking H&M unit become disordered for meleeing on difficult terrain or would it just get the -2 modifier for fighting troops within difficult terrain?

Re: Difficult terrain and melee
1. Yes, can rally and then move outside in good order. Movement rate is still reduced, so you can do that about at the edge of that terrain.
2. Yes. Still not in its ideal terrain to fight.
3. If it remains out then only the -2 for fighting against a troop in difficult terrain. This happens when the unit attacked was partially out (with the side that was contacted)
