Shooting rules - para 6.2
Hello from Brittany
I have some troubles using the shooting rules.
According to the French version of Smooth&Rifled, it is better for a mini inside a group to use normal shooting - para #6.2.2 - than volley fire tir en salve - para #6.2.5 - due to the different modifiers. But I suppose I am wrong. So, there is something I am still not understanding. Can you help me ?
Thanks

Re: Shooting rules - para 6.2
sorry for the delay in the answer.
Well, shooting by Group is usefull if you have a Group with many figures (usually I would say at least 7-8 ( and you want ot targetanother Group). You spend less Action Points and it is easy that you have some hit.

Re: Shooting rules - para 6.2
Thanks a lot for your very clear answer.
I have to say the first sentence (in French) was a little confusing, because we had to consider a volley fire on a single target, not a group.

Re: Shooting rules - para 6.2
well, a voley fire to a single figure is possible. But you waste a lot of bullets for a single man. Also the target in this case would have only one damage test so chances to survive.
