MOVING AND SHOOTING
We had a couple of games last night and one point came up in that I tried to clarify but after being talked down, I just gave up in frustration . I will not ask any specific question (or I will be accused of asking the wrong question or confusing the issue) so I will just explain the circumstance and ask for opinions .
We had a FL unit interpenetrate another FL unit, then stop and shoot (taking off the appropriate dice for the movement), then after the shooting, declare a charge on the enemy unit that it just shot at. Is this allowed?

Re: MOVING AND SHOOTING
No.
As per 6.1 firing occurs before or after movement, not during movement. Once you fire after moving that is the end of that unit's activation. There can be no subsequent activation.
A unit may fire before ANY movement and pay a number of dice penalty equal to the moves they wish to try and make but that is entirely different to move-shoot-move.

Re: MOVING AND SHOOTING
Thank you. Finally a voice of reason. I was getting rather irritated trying to make a point but the problem I have is that certain players cannot take advice or criticism.
Cheers,
Dennis
