Charismatic Generals
Had a game tonight where a couple of questions came up regarding generals - in particular Charismatic ones.
Does the plus 1 bonus for rallying troops under his command apply only to those with command range, or all troops regardless?
Is the plus 1 in addition to the extra 1 the unit he is with already gets?
And more generally - if a unit with a general fails a cohesion test vs shooting with a 6 and the general comes up as captured...well, you just accept he is lost?
If he is captured/lost with no immediate consequences for the troops - does this mean the command carries on as though he were still there, eg getting commander bonuses and the like?
regards Andrew

Re: Charismatic Generals
My understanding is that a Charismatic general gives the +1 on a rally DT to all units in his command, not just those in his command range. For the unit he is with, that is in addition to the +1 for the unit having an attached general.
If the general is captured or killed he is lost. He gives no more command bonuses. All units in his command are now out of command. The 'with no consequences' is a bit misleading; loss of the general always has consequences, just maybe not the command (or army) running away (the consequences of a higher score in Rule 8.2.2
