Activation of the commander-in-chief attached to the squad from another team
Tell us how the commander-in-chief and the squad/group from another team to which he is attached will be activated. If I understand correctly, the rules allow this

Re: Activation of the commander-in-chief attached to the squad from another team
Yes rule 2.7.1.3 page 11 allow this but it doesn't say if he does this when the CNC's command is activated or the command with the unit he wishes to attach to. Until Lorenzo comments i suggest the CNC attach's when the command containing the unit is activated.
Have to say none of us has actually used this rule.

Re: Activation of the commander-in-chief attached to the squad from another team
Let's suppose the CiC is also the leader of Command 1 and there is a Unit/Group in Command 2 that you need to activate (maybe the leader of Command 2 is lost).
When Command 1 is activated you can move the CiC in contact with that Unit/Group. And later, when you activate Command 2 and that Unit/Group, the CiC is altready attached and the Unit/Group can benefit of this.
This is a very rare case, very rare. But just a possibility for the CiC.

Thanks for the clarification!
Did I understand correctly that you can't use a Commander-in-Chief to "augment" another Command, so that several units/groups can benefit from the bonuses given by Generals in melee and Discipline tests?

no, it is not something that you can "augment", it is more a "substitute"

Thank you very much. I think that point needs to be clarified in Errata
