Sengoku Japanese, List 23.6, Warbook3

In the old Impetus 1 list (Late Samurai 1543-1600, Extra Impetus 5) the Samurai foot were classed as FP, instead of the earlier bow armed FL. This reflected the note in the Middle Samurai list 'In this period the Samurai begin to leave the bow in favor of the naginata (sword).'
In the new Impetus 2 list the Samurai foot have reverted to bow armed FL throughout the period. My understanding was that the European contact and introduction of the Harquebus had moved the Samurai toward FP.
Would it be possible to add an option for 'Samurai on Foot' as FP from 1543?
PS. That will save me a major paint job as none of my Perry Samurai have bows!
