Gradual loss of Impetus bonus

Hi All,

Not sure if this has been covered before , but a unit that starts off ‘ fresh ‘ with an Impetus bonus of 1 , when it becomes ‘ worn’ does its Impetus bonus drop to zero or does it stay at 1.
The reason I ask this is that in ‘ Impetus V2 ‘ it states on page 8 2.5.1 that when a unit suffers its first loss then it starts to become worn . Worn units can react and their Impetus bonus is usually reduced to 1 .

The way I play it, is that a worn unit with an impetus of 1 that isn't exhausted, keeps its impetus bonus of 1. The rule regarding worn units does not subtract anything from the impetus value, it only reduces it to 1.

Agree with Kenntak. Its in 7.4 1st para.
Assume Kenntak meant worn unit 'isn't' exhausted'

If exhausted the Impetus Bonus is 0.

Note in 7.4 under
"Impetus Bonus is nullified in these circunstances
1) Charging Unit is exhausted"

Yes thats how we play it. Think Kenntak put 'is' but meant isn't ie. worn but not yet exhausted.
So in the context of the question a unit with impetus of 1 keeps that until exhausted then becomes 0.
Only units with an impetus of 2+ drop to 1 when worn unless CP CGP scythed ch. or Ele

I did think that units with an impetus bonus of 1 when fresh kept it when worn and only lost it when exhausted , so thanks again everyone who answered my posting.
