Hello!
What is the difference between S Acontistai and S Javelinmen from Nikephorian and Konstantinian Byzantine Armies at Warbook 2?
They have equal characteristics and costs but only naming is different.

They could be the same type (as Akontistai simply means skirmishers) but my suspicion, based on terminology from Impetus 1 lists, is that they should be armed with Short Bow B and cost 11 points. So I would suggest that this is possibly a typo. This is a Lorenzo question for sure.

The S Javelinmen are an error. Duplicated from the akontistai.

I think you are correct jorneto. I didn't see this entry in the latest version of the Warbook Errata.

A couple of lines like "Delete line of S Javelinmen" will be added to the errata for the two lists.
So, you can have up to 2 S with javelin.
