I think it was half minimum, but full maximum. But cannot find where that was written.

Tony thanks for posting and this is exactly what I was working on "half minimum but full maximum". Shall we stick with that?

I know Matt's Carthaginian army is based on half minimum but full maximum as he has 2 x FL Oscan's which are 0-2 in the table.

Hope everyone is OK with this - like Tony I think this was what we used before but probably not written down. The advanced rules amendments only mention 350 points in the tournament section.

One point though the 60% VD max for the largest command should apply.

PS see everyone is being cagey and sticking up army lists at the last minute! If we have them up for Sunday lunch though gives a week to enjoy thinking about match up's.

I'm not being cagey I'm being indecisive. I sort of want to take Hussites as I would like to try them at 400pts but I know that upset some people last time, and the other option is Persian but the figures are old and tired

Edit - 4 Medieval, 3 Classical, 1 Dark Age (or is it Early Mediaval?) and three armies with three Commands and five with two. Nice mix of troop types in there too. Should be fun

Hi great set of armies ........can everyone note Shaun's change to the Parthian army list - less scout points swapped for a roll of destiny (Shaun can just use on the cohesion test either to roll your dice or make opponent roll again!)

Just a quick favour as to ask, as we have the rule in combat of extra dice if better class of troop can you make a quick edit of your list if this is not clear.

I don't have access to all the army list books - (the last army John's British and Welsh Kingdoms is on the ancient Beta list if you have not seen - sure this has a mix of B and C class units)

Hi Everyone

Just a note re Sat - the doors are open to traders and players from 08.30. I have put down to try and arrive from 09.00- 09.30 and we can start the first game at 9.30 .... not too bad.

I will do draw for the first round there and make a point of avoiding regular players for the first match, after that we will go on points using the original points system, and if it is very close on points also try to avoid regular players in the second round.

We will have tablecloths BUT you need to bring your own terrain pieces as you prefer for your army.

Hi All looking forward to tomorrow.

No problems with this as points not affected, but Paul's Thracians can readjust VD's as looks like you have counted the normal Peltasts with Javelin as VD 3 when they are just VD 1.

Personally think that makes the army much stronger ..... no need to make any changes to the list itself

Frankly it was a disaster made worse by the fact he had two big wins in rounds 1&2 and the rest of us ground out draws or minor wins so he had already scored enough points to claim the trophy by the end of round 2 - in other words it is our fault and we must do better next time :-)

Congrats to Paul, and thanks to everyone for taking part and being such good sports. I would also like to thank Jez for the organising, and KR & Annie the Dice Bag Lady for the prizes.
