Theban (Greek) peltasts
I'm just making a start on the peltasts for my Theban list and am in two minds as to how they should be armed. I'm using Xyston Greek peltasts with Booitian helmets and don't know of I should arm them with just javelins and shield or short spear, javelin and shield? Furthermore should they have the crescent pelta that gives them their name or the round subsized hoplon that comes with the figures?
Thoughts folks please?

I think you should go with pelta shield and javelin

I like the pelta shield and javelins idea.
