Han Chinese

Being the owner of a Han army that started its career in 1979, I’m always curious about each new army list that appears.

Looking at the two impetus beta lists I find the Eastern Han fine but the Western list a little less so:

- There are too few heavy chariots. 0-3 instead (perhaps even 0-4?).

- VBU 5 CM, all crossbow? Always thought that mounted CB’s were a minority type. Might be better to have the option to have them with or without crossbow - see the Eastern list.

- I never liked the mixed units of close combat and crossbows being compulsory. My opinion is that the units were arranged that way only when necessary and from a tactical decision.

- after playing FOG in the last few years, I’m used to it, but where are the foot archers? Perhaps adding the option (in both lists) to have S-Crossbowmen OR S-Archers?

Your comments seem reasonable and show some insight into the Han Chinese.

May I suggest that you put together a new list for the Han Chinese and submit it to the Proposing Army List section of the Forum.

Well, I won't be changing much, but I'll try to compose a new list.
