Victory method

I am interested in players views on the victory system.

Having to count the full VDC value if it becomes demoralised against the VDT figure seems very harsh. You can actually be destroying a lot more of your enemy and still loose because those units are spread across the enemy army. Seems a bit harsh?

I think you are mistaken. You only count routed units VD against the Army VD.

You count the full VDC of a routed command toward army demoralization.

We only had a couple of games where losses were about the same for both sides but one had them concentrated and the other spread across the army - so very minor exceptions from our usual games.

But note that we use 50% for command breakpoint. It makes those situations more rarer.

That is what he means! Yes, well that is the system. In a typical 400 point game the difference between 1/3 and 1/2 losses is often only one or two VD. It is the loss of commands that takes down and army for sure.
