I want to share my thoughts. For 3 points, it is more profitable to buy intelligence points or improve the commander. It's more efficient. Make a squad, spend time painting the figures and get a squad with minimal efficiency and risk in spending VD without benefit. I already have such a squad and I'll probably play with them sometimes, but I'm not sure that others will do the same.

Yes, you're right. I looked into warbook 3 where VD=1. Lorenzo is already aware and a change to VD=0 (in 6 lists) will certainly appear in a errata, possibly after the release of warbook 4, which is the current priority.
