No idea if I'll get a game, but that's a chance I take and I'm easy either way. Not had a full list of competitors off Richard yet, as soon as I have it I will update the thread. Lists this weekend please,and if you can add which book and page number it is from.
I have three lists in so far.

I paid my entry by cheque and included my e-mail address and I've heard nothing back - no news is good news? If I'm not on the list Steve please let me know ASAP and I'll get in touch, just finished a new army and I don't want to miss the chance to christen it!

Mark - I sent a cheque in and Richard the organiser emailed me back to say he has received ... guess you could email him directly as he may not have had your email - he emailed me from competition@worldwargames.co.uk

Thanks Jez, I've sent an e-mail to ask them to confirm they received my payment - it would be a bugger to get there only to be turned away at the door!

Its funny how the same people go to tournaments and you never get to meet them - I saw Dax at a few gatherings and never got to play him - mind you he was usually at the other end of the table to me after round 1

I don't know what happened to him and if he'll ever get back to Impetus but I hope he's okay.

Anyway I'll be bringing my very luckiest dice just in case we do meet....

Hi everyone ... Now the lists are in is it good to build up excitement by saying what army you are using? I am bringing Swiss. Just finished a new base camp which is a mountain village and also got a new "mini Alps" impassable terrain piece!

I'll be there with Wars of the Roses Yorkists - not a bad match up for Swiss and Charles the Bold! A guy at the club plays El Cid and I've seen what he can do Sounds like its shaping up to be a good one.

Just wanted to also pass on my thanks to Steve for running the event and enjoyed the 3 games I had. I discovered lots of new things ...

Game 1. Ouch when El Cid charges you in the flank.
Game 2. Irish high VBU FL with javelin are nasty.
Game 3 Respect for the Teutonic Knights brother knights .. think the end position was two Swiss pike blocks (total18 VBU points) taking on a unit of Knights (total 3 VBU) and being slowed to a crawl.

Looking forward to next year.

was a great weekends gaming loved all the games, sympathy for the poor Romans facing El cid, tho he was a bit knackered after four games.

always good to play different opponents and the event played thru out in fantastic spirit.

special apologies to steve & jim for trying to destroy their armies, (by knocking their box over) very unsporting..
