pursuing units
I have a query with regard to 7.7.5 on pursuit. on the second to last para. it says if the main unit pursues(it rolls the die), the supporting Units also can pursue. This implies that only one dice roll is made by the Main unit the supporting unit then moves as per the main unit. However the last para says Each unit involved in a pursuit rolls a separate die.
We have always used the latter but in a recent game with a friend he raised the point that only the main unit rolls ave we been playing this correct with both the main and supporting units rolling separate die?
Also a further query was raised re this and also in retreat that if a unit only gave a single die to the main unit under 7.5 as flank support. does this count as a supporting unit for both retreat and pursuit as it would under a multiple melee and hence retreat or pursues with the Main unit?

Re: pursuing units
I have many questions myself, but I'm pretty sure the intent here is that each unit will have a different pursuit/retreat result. So all M and S units in the melee roll separately.
I think the reference to "it rolls the die" means that if the Main unit actually rolls the dice to pursue, the Support units can then also roll their dice to pursue.
I also think that a unit on the flank is not a capital S "support" unit. Only those touching enemy units in the melee are included for retreat or pursue purposes.
