Is there a comprehensive list of the changes in Impetus 2 vs. Impetus?

Re: Impetus 2 changes
I am preparing it, but I can start now :-) (I may update this post when new things comes in mind)
1) Measurements are now in H (half base, same as BI2)
Troops move the same as BI2, but with S moving 3H instead of 2H
2) More flexibility on manouvre. E.G. troops can move oblique/side without disorder provide it is the last move of the activation.
Some more troops can evade and evasion will be not as easy.
3) Warchariots can move basically with other troops (no need to take half move before wheel) but with some limitations.
4) FL and Mounted (with exception of Chariots, EL and W) can wheel and move straight in one move (but as last action)
5) Leaders are based apart so can be attached or unattached. Comand Structure is limited as range so it is very important to have the Leader in the right place.
Also, you can customize your leaders with some characteritics. E.G. you can upgrade a Leader to Brave: more dice in melee if attached, but easier to loose it.
6) A Group can be Fragmented, that is a Group with some Disordered Units in it. So a Disordered Unit doesn't break the Group. You can perform actions (with some limitations) with Fragmente Groups, you can also rally by Group.
The Fragmented Groups brings armies to respect more the line of battle. Probably this will be the part that need more exercise to understand how to deal with, remebering that if you start activate a Group you must conclude as a group.
7) Reaction are similar to Baroque. No Opportunity taken in advance but you can try to react (with some limitation) with a Discipline test (not all reaction are easy the same and much depends on the troop type, e.g. for )
Some changes on how ZoC works. Automatic reaction if in good order and with a D test if in Disorder
8 ) Terrain placement similar to BI2. Some changes in Troops deployement.
9) Some changes in Firing Table. There will be not the Close Range and entering the ZoC to shoot will not give advantages.
You can always roll 1 die on shooting (like for melee)
Some changes for screening troops (shooting through S, CL, Art)
10) Some new modifiers for the Cohesion test. Some of them allow shhoting weapons to have more differentation.
11) Impetuous troops works differently. They are not forced to charge but when they charge by Group they can lack coordination (Frenzy test)
12) some changes on melee modifiers. Among them an A class troop fighting a C class troop will have +2 for the difference of Disciplines
13) Impetus bonus will be lost later. For many troops with one loss the Bonus will drop to 1. For CP, CGP, CF and EL the bonus will be kept full until the Unit is Exhausted
14) Some changes for depth bonus. Among them Warband LU will have a +1 in melee with Mounted
15) Among reaction Foot can close ranks if charged by Mounted (getting some bonus)
16) If both Units miss all hits, both Units get Disorder (and if already disordered, a loss). When a Unit looses the melee and retreats in Disorder, the Supporting Unit does the same. If the Supporting Unit is already in Disorder, then it takes on loss.
16) Changes in Victory Conditions.
17) Advanced rules like Flank Marches, Ambushed and Reserve included
18) There are 6 Strategic Cards and 12 Tactical Cards. Each Tactical card cost 3 pts and you can change 2 TC for 1 SC.
E.G. you can dedicate 12 pts for card. You can choose 4 TC before each game and you can also change 2 of them for a Strategic Card.

Re: Impetus 2 changes
As I played BI quite a lot this year this list sound absolutely great for me. Especially 1 die for shooting in any case, the impetus bonus lost later and the reaction system similar to Baroque.

Re: Impetus 2 changes
Changes sound wonderful, esp the Impetus loss changes for El & CP, dropping the gamey point blank fire & adding Baroque's reactions instead of ordered opportunity

Re: Impetus 2 changes
I am most interested in the game theory behind the changes. How does each change improve Impetus as a game? On the face of it some changes listed above seem like an improvement, others less so. Of course, the test is in playing the game so any ultimate decision on my part will have to wait until the rules come out and are played many times.

Will the army lists in extra Impetus 1-5 still be valid?

Re: Impetus 2 changes
Don't like 2-4. I liked the fact that some troops were cumbersome and unwieldly to manouvre, as this was true to life and presented some authentic challenges to the player/commander. These seem to be changes triggered by chariot players whining about having some disadvantages?
Am also not keen on A troops getting the combat bonus. The A/C classification surely relates to skill in manouvre, not raw fighting ability.
Finally, I thought the "disperse rather than evade" thing was a rather elegant innovation in v1 so sorry to see that go really.
In general I distrust any rules revisions - the game's original ethos always gets watered down :-(

Re: Impetus 2 changes
I don't like the standardisation of Chariot movement with that of other troop types - takes some variety and flavour out of the game.
I don't like the changes to Impetus bonus.
I don't see the point of the changes to Impetuous.
All of these just seem to be the result of players moaning that they have to work around difficulties and weaknesses in the troop types (always a problem that impacts rules revisions in general)
