Combat results

Does, or should, be included in the combat results comparison (to determine the winner)

1. point blank pistol losses
2. defensive fire losses

Point blank pistol is considered part of the melee and not a reaction, so I would think that it should be.

Defensive fire is a reaction - and can stop the charge. SO I would think not.

PBP is a firing step before melee, with possible disorder & cohesion tests before the melee. Basically it is mechanism to seperate the tactics of galloper, cold steel cavalry vs. those who trotted in close order firing in an attempt to disorder their opponent before melee.
