Rhoxolani Sarmatians 28mm
It's been a while since I painted Ancients and so I decided that this year will be dedicated to Napoleonics, WW2 and an Ancient army. Almost 2 years ago I bought some Sarmatians which are still waiting to get some paint (except for a single base of "headhunting girls" that have been already painted). I hope this announcement will make it impossible for me to step back because of the shame that would be involved in such a step
To provide at least some picture stuff meanwhile here is a picture of the unboxed lot (with the single painted base in frontrow):
and a pic of the girls (sorry just have this crappy cellphonepic):

What I really hate about the figures is that the hands of the cataphracts are cast as a solid lump of lead - you have to drill a hole through each hand on virtually every single figure -.-

Oh I loathe that, they'd have to be beautiful figures at a beautiful price before I was tempted
