Markers for Impetus
You folks may find these useful.
I like the battlefield to look good during play, and one of the worst offenders of battlefield clutter is the paper counters, markers and other gaudy things that we use to keep track of the game.
I own an architectural model making company, and I have some fancy tools. Occasionally I play around with them and make a few things for "hobby time". I made a set of markers for my Impetus armies. (Macedonian and Persian)These are done with a laser cutter on 1/4" acrylic.
DISR for "Disorder"
OPP for "Opportunity"
The Greek ones use a phony Greek font, and the Persian ones use a modified form of Achaemenid cuneiform to create english letters.
These are the large ones:
They are made to match cultural styles of various popular armies, yet remain legible to those who read english.
These are the small ones:
I had made some similar markers for another ancients game, but I modified them for use in Impetus since that's what I like to play now.
People liked them, and wanted me to make some others so I did.
I have 10 different sets available for order, in two different sizes.
You can see them all in the catalogue here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ifab4wx8zn684o0/impetus%20marker%20catalogue.pdf?dl=0
