Atheling's Early Byzantine's- Dismounted Bucellarri Full Unit 13/10/20

I have absolutely enjoyed every moment of painting up this unit. They really are beautifully crafted miniatures and deserved all the TLC they received.

The last two ranks are currently drying after glossing and on the advice of meistro Redzed I'm going to be leaving the gloss to go off thoroughly for a few days before matting down.

Here's a few pics of the finished unit. It's been based on three 60mm deep by 40mm wide bases so that it can be broken up into two units for for Impetus, one for Swordpoint, Hail Caesar and even just two based for Motem et Grloium! I was trying to hedge my bets as a lot of players are playing different rules these days.

Cheers Zippee. I've had so much trouble over the years basing then rebasing I thought I'd go for the optimal base size for the majority of Ancients/Medieval rules sets with a little but of juggling of the bases.

I can make two dismounted Bucellarri units for Impetus out of the one for Swordpoint/Hail Caesar etc as seen below.
