troop clasifications

Hi just got the rules and they look good, however a question
cavalry is listed as GA, TR, RE, SP. but as i read the rules there seems to be no use of these terms in the general play of the game, am i missing something? there appears to be no difference between a GA and a TR in actual game play terms.

Look at Reactions/Discipline and Charge/Pursuit.
GA (Gallopers) are more likely to charge, will charge further and pursue further.
Massed RE can also Caracole. RE and SP also dont suffer from movement when shooting.
