Oblique and Sideway Moves.
In Section 5.3.2 the rules state that units in good order can move sideways or oblique. For all units other than CL, CM and S this must be there last move of the activation. That is straightforward. With respect to CL, CM and S the question was could one of these units move sideways or oblique for one move in the activation and then follow up moving forward for a second move in the same activation? It would seem so but the way this section is written it is not explicitly stated so. One person thought that the CL, CM and S could continue oblique or sideway moves but wouldn’t be able to move forward or backwards in the same activation.

We play it rightly or wrongly that CL CM S can do what they like as the rules do no give any restrictions apart from the +1 progressive modifier. Gets a bit confusing as in 5 3 4 CM isnot mentioned.

Re: Oblique and Sideway Moves.
I think i need to clarify my comments. Our query with 5 3 2 is group moves. 2nd sentence says'only CL CM S can perform this move, more than once, also as a group, more than once in a single activation.'
5 3 4 says 'A group can wheel, but sideways, oblique and rear movement is only allowed for groups that are entirely comprised of S or LC.' The CM has been deleted. We play it that CM can also do it as per 5 3 2. Regards Eric

Re: Oblique and Sideway Moves.
CL/CM/S can basically do what the want and they can do also as a Group.
CM can do the same as CL that so was wrongly omitted in 5 3 4.
