Questions after first game.
Had my first game of Basic Impetus 2 tonight and have a question or two.
1. Do disordered units suffer a permanent VBU reduction when they suffer a hit in either missile or melee attack, essentially asking that even with a successful cohesion check, after receiving a hit, the disordered unit will suffer a permanent VBU reduction regardless of the save role?
2. Do CL and Skirmishers suffer a disorder while wheeling? The rules don't make any exception for these classes while wheeling but that seems odd to me when compared to other rule sets.
Overall I really liked how the game played out between my Persians and Athenians. The Greeks, not in any large units, crushing in on the Persian left flank, but eventually being broken by the three large units of Achaemenids was a nice result considering how my Persians usually do in other rule systems.

Re: Questions after first game.
Hi,
Q1, Yes it does.
Q2, Easy to misread this one. Normally units are not disordered if they wheel. They only take a disorder if they wheel AND move. So Foot could wheel 2H, no disorder. Or, if they are not disordered already, they can wheel 1H and then move straight for 1H becoming disordered. You can even make a charge with this wheel/straight combo, but will be disordered on contact. So you are only disordered if you combine a wheel and a straight portion of your move.
Cheers,
TD
