Burgundian mixed pike/Longbow units

Can the unit fire at point blank (if on opportuinity) as they are Longbow A?
The rules do not say they have to be a "T" unit, only that the troops have to be armed with Longbow A.
Instinct tells me they shouldn't but as they don't suffer the -2 for overhead firing I wasn't sure.

I would say yes, they meet the qualification for doing so.
