Some thoughts and discussion on later ECW.
Many P&M had no pikes and often lacked muskets.
P&M I=1 D=B VB=5 Musket SM-2 ?
Also there is evidence that the Pikes from multiple units were consolidated and the shot redistributed
so 3 P&M I=2 VB=6 Pike, Musket, SM-2
would become
1 P&M I=2 VB=6 Pike (no musket) MASSED
2 P&M I=1 VB=6 Musket SM-2
