CL Target priorities

When determining target priorities with CL does "to front" mean what you would expect, or can the CL choose which is their front for targeting purposes?

Hi I play that as the LC has a 360 all sides shooting capability when it is shooting you can select which side or frontage you are shooting from.

Jeztodd is correct. You chose the side you want to shoot from and then work out target priorities from that side.
Just to remind that the ZOC extends only out of the front of the CL. We often have games where two opposing CL are shooting from their sides against each other without the ability to evade or reaction fire.

Glad to read your last comment Gaius as I have found exactly the same i.e.two CL's shooting from flanks, usually both at point blank. Ouch!
