Unit repulsed off the table.
Hi,
We had a game the other day in which my opponent charged some MC into my crossbow at an angle. The Gods smiled on me and it was a draw so he had to break off. He moved back 10cm (5+5) but this took him off the table. Do you loose the VD if you are forced to leave the table? I would have thought yes but we decided no as a search of the rules did not give a clear answer

Re: Unit repulsed off the table.
In case of a draw it is up to the player that controls the mounted unit to decide to retire or not.
This is in the new 2015 amendments (though a previous amendment already avoided the player to retire in case the unit was lost)

Yes, even in the old rules the CM didn't have to retreat off the table in the case of a draw.

No chance. We had him for dinner.
Are we using the 2015 amendments for next week?

New amendments should work well and better reflect what would happen in reality. PS the world is not flat and you can't fall off it
