Two weapons type in one unit

I noticed in the Middle Assyrian list that the Levies have two shooting weapons. The front rank has javelin and the back rank Short Bow B. Is this a typo or correct? If it is correct how does this work?

A good question but one probably best added to the possible erata list to keep stuff in one place?
