Oh my,
Oh what fun,
Such an improvement on Impetus - just love the reaction system. Please tell me that's making its way into Impetus II over Opportunity and ZOC.
Love the special unit rules - just enough effect and flavour without overturning the game.
Absolutely sold, jolly good job.
Can we have more lists please?

One question emerged - we had wondered initially why anyone would withdraw units, once we looked at the Victory Conditions it quickly became clear!
Reminder don't assume stuff is the same
Anyway the question, we understand that withdrawn units don't count as eliminated for VDT and VDC calculation but if they are already Exhausted does that still count?
We could see this both ways, in fact we could see withdrawn units always counting as exhausted even if withdrawn whilst fresh.
A clarification would be nice.
And that's it - it was the only question to emerge, says something for the writing clarity and bodes well for the increased clarity of Impetus II

oh, yes they count. Once a Unit is exhausted it immediately counts over the Victory Conditions. Then it is up to you to decide to withdraw or risk to loose more. Or you can also withdraw a Unit before being Exhausted.
Impetus 2 will be based on the same reaction system. Baroque was the occasion to test some different ideas. Impetus 2 should be a mix of Impetus (as we know now) and Baroque. Of course this in theory, as playtesting will help to tune the whole thing.
We have draft of more Baroque lists. Those published were those tested. Just the time to check the points (we changed here and there but working on the tested list and so I have to check that the other lists have the updated points) and I will upload.
In the future I will publish the official supplement but I prefer to test the lists before that as betas.
Also, in the official lists I want to add Characters like Wallenstein, Rupert, Gustavus Adolphus, Tilly etc

Would definitely be in favour of the reaction system replacing Opportunity and ZOC, the elimination of that geometry and micro measurement really brought the game to life. It was like commanding troops and making decisions instead of rules lawyering and bickering

oh, I missed that, yes was the old name.
There is also another error in the lists (I will prepare an errata): Swedish lis, Hakapellita have no weapons.

Really like how doubling the VD for eliminated units plays out for victory conditions. This and the withdrawing off the battlefield option are a nice touch .....simple and effective. We've had exhausted cavalry units pull back after a drawn out melee to then withdraw from the field seeing things go belly up. Quiet realistic I think
