Breaking the Roman Line
Well friend Pete and I had a good game of Impetus today on Pete's newly decorated, 5' x 9' foot table. Pete set the scenario where my Gauls with their Celtiberian Allies had to break through the Roman Lines. after a fierce struggle my right flank collapsed rapidly followed by Pete's right flank causing the battle line to spin around a little. Sadly we ran out of time to fight to a conclusion but we had fun and both of us felt we learnt a lot about the rules.

...and as you can see, my Celtiberians broke on the Roman line rather than breaking through.
