Basic Questions
Optional Pursuit: Understand that troops with impetus above 0 can pursue after winning a melee as per 7.6.4 (advanced rules also clarify CL unit now)
What distance is the move as rule only talks about impetuous troops distance and not options troops distance. Seems to imply all mounted is 1d6 and infantry id half that rounded up?
Melee Draw: Advanced rule now gives option to CM,CL & CGL to retreat or remain in contact. If retreat is chosen, is the unit disordered as per 7.6.2 as advanced rule does not state.

Re: Basic Questions
I have always played- and seen it played - that all pursuits are 1d6 or 1d6/2 for mounted and infantry respectively.
For retreating on the draw I would say yes to disorder - I understood the advanced rule was just giving the option to stick to the previous compulsory retreat. But I can see that its not completely clear that's the case.

Re: Basic Questions
Just to be clear, only CL with 0 impetus can pursue (under certain conditions.) Other unit types with 0 can never pursue.
Agree that all pursuits are 1d6 for mounted and 1d6/2 for infantry.
Agree also that CM, CL and CGL that make a compulsory retreat are disordered at the end of the move.
