Impetuos troops
If impetuous troops are disordered and out of control does that mean they only get the one attempt to rally as they must make their compulsory move?
If impetuous troops are part of a group of impetuous troops, but say only one unit is within 30u of the enemy and thus out of control, can the whole group move together straight forward and stay as a group, or does the out of control unit have to activate separately?

Re: Impetuos troops
Yes, impetuous troops that are out of control do not get to use the command rally option. Throw your die and then move regardless of whether you rally. It can be frustrating at times.
As to your second question as long as the unit out of control moves towards the nearest enemy with a full move I don't see why it cannot do so within a group in which other units are not out of control. The only limitation may be that the group as a whole isn't allowed the "free" wheel at the beginning of the turn to adjust their line of advance.

Re: Impetuos troops
The only thing you can attempt to prevent movement is to put them on opportunity - there's a school of thought that says you should always make this roll and then decide
(and another that says it is geeky, cheesy and time wasting to do so ).
As far as I'm aware, being impetuous does not prevent you being part of a group - but your movement must remain legal.

How can Lorenzo be the disciple?
Surely he's the Mufti - Mardi - Prophet or whatever

He's the Mahdi - and the Kwisatz Haderach!
The prophecy: A man will come from outside the Wargames Research Group and his rules will bring us freedom!

Yet much of what He has written will remain dark and mysterious and will be filtered through the interpretations of his followers.
And schisms shall arise, each claiming to be the True Word of Lorenzo as it was BS (Before Sartori) in the days of the Barker ("I called Phil last night and he said.....").
Religion is bunk. Clear writing is almost everything. The rest is a good index.
I like a good index. Note, index. A good table of contents is only a part of it.

Too late! Ask Tarty and Granicus about my dice rolling. Someone, somewhere is dining out on my misfortunes.

See any connection? If I were you I'd be begging for divine mercy before my next game. But that's just me!

I've heard that sacrifizing a virgin at the first new moon of the year helps... (could also be full moon - can't remember exactly anymore)

Fortunately for Starkers this is the gaming community so it shouldn't be too hard to find one...
