Disorder from Charging at Evaders?

Do you still get the disorder from a failed charge if you fail to contact due to evading?

No disorder unless the charge was made using the charge movement bonus.

On the presumption I presume that the player is declaring a Potential Charge?

if the opponent can evade we assume you declared a potential charge, so no disorder. Of course it would be better to declare it (I assume it can be missed by unexperienced players)

We always declare it so that everyone is clear that there are units capable of making an evade move involved.
