Interpenetrations
I just wanted to ask the forum for a few clarifications on inter-penetration when the penetrating unit cannot clear the unit it is penetrating:-
a) When interpenetrated a unit of S, CL or non-impetuous FL will be placed behind the unit trying to interpenetrate (keeping its original facing).
b) In ALL other circumstances the unit trying to interpenetrate "stops just short of contact", presumably to try and clear the unit with a further move (immediately or in its next activation).
This presumably applies to S, CL and non-impetuous FL trying to move through anything other than other S, CL and non-impetuous FL?
c) In the case of one unit of non-impetuous FL trying to move through another unit of non-impetuous FL, I would assume that (a) takes precedence (i.e. the unit being moved through moves to the rear of the penetrating unit).
d) Does the "clearance" have to be a single move, or if you can clear by making a double one can you do so, or do you split the move in half as it were?
Hope that makes sense. Any comments welcome.
Thanks

Re: Interpenetrations
1. Correct. S, CL and FL will displace back behind the unit interpenetrating it.
2. Correct.
3. Correct.
4. The question of clearnance is determined at the end of the unit's move, not movement phase. So for instance a S unit is moving forward and on its second move it lands in the middle of a FP. The S then rolls for disorder for making the second move and fails. It is moved back behind the unit it is attempting to clear. Should the S make its discipline test then it could make a third move and clear the FP.
