Scorpio - Late Imperial Romans

Picked up some very nice Roman figures last week, have been reading through the lists and LIR have Scorpio units available to them, equally they are not listed in Advanced Impetus as having the distributed Scorpio option available to them.

Just want to check if they must have ART units if they take the Scorpio.

Doesn't AI 7 only allow Scorpios up to MIR?

That is - distributed scorpios. LIR can have artillery units made up of scorpios etc.

YEp, that's the question. As read Advanced Impetus doesn't include them in the allowed list, equally it doesn't specifically preclude them so I wanted to clarify that they are indeed NOT given access to the distributed Scorpio rahter than they were just left off the list by accident.
