350 point halving question

Gents,

would appreciate your thoughts (or even a definite ruling if Lorenzo is around)

Before we get lists submitted for Wintercon I would like to check the rule on "halving" for 350 point armies.  Given Wintercon will be a Medieval tournament how do we halve lists such as the Spanish, Ext Imp 1 page 28?

My view is that we should halve the individual units such as the 4-12 Jinetes to 2-6, and that we should halve the "major" units such as 2-4 Colunela down to 1-2 Colunela whilst leaving the individual units WITHIN the Colunela alone.

everthing halved or nothing halved and then no comp.simple,elegant and straightforward, stop tinkering

halve the numbers of colunelas and keep the number of units inside each coluneal as they are, otherwise it would be hard to keep the right proportions and would be impossible to field 3ranks deep pikes
