What is the point of Groups?

What is the advantage of forming a group for movment? Since moves aren"t limited, why not just move each unit individually? Thanks.

the advantage is that if you enter in melee with 2 units you can use the support of the supporting unit

Hey, by the way, did you know that when you do a google search for Impetus wargames rules the google result comes up as some sort of strange pornography website? You might want to look into changing that some how.

Yes I know. It is a boot that is really annoying and I should be able to solve very soon with the help of person specialized to solve these problems.

Back to groups. is there a limit on the size of a group for example 3, 4, 5 units.
