PURSUIT BY SUPPORTING UNITS

Gone blank . Can't find a reference to show if a Supporting Unit can pursue if it is not in melee and the Main Unit pursues. Help

Not sure what you mean by not in melee mate, to be a support unit it must be in so I will proceed on that basis.

The only Support units that can follow up are: Impetuous , Heavy Cavalry and Heavy Chariots.

They can do so only if the main unit pursues

Thanks for that. By not in melee I meant that it was not engaged by another Unit and so would be able to move in pursuit.

I thought I read somewhere any Support Unit could also pursue if the Main Unit did so but rolled a separate dice. I must have been having a Blonde moment.

You are correct Dennis. Take a look at the very end of 7.7.3 on page 41 for the reference.

Only partially blonde Dennis. You were correct about supporting units pursuing. The only caveat is as GG says, that pursuit by support units is limited to certain types.

I'd be more worried about the curling.
