An open invitation to players in South Wales

Players from Cardiff Wargames Club have recently discovered the joys of Impetvs. About six of us are currently painting and basing for this system, in both 15mm and 28mm. We would like to extend a warm welcome to any players who would like to join us. We meet at Firestorm games , near Cardiff Central Railway station,on a Thursday evening from 6.30. There is a small entrance fee but the venue is licenced!
Any visits from experienced players would be especially welcome as we are in the early stages of learning the rules. We can always accommodate new players with the loan of figures too.
Weekend games and maybe a Christmas grand battle are currently being planned.

Hi thanks for this post. I am based near Birmingham, have never been to Cardiff but interested to visit the city sometime and with a bonus of an impetus game as an added attraction.

Think there are other gamers in South Wales and know there are some very good competitions there.

Definitely recommend to have go at competitions, you get to play a few games on the same day and take on different armies. Always found these good fun.

You have got to come down. Mark Emms has got me all fired up for impetvs comps. If I wasn't already committed to two WW2 comps in October , I'd be coming up to Derby. Plans are already afoot for a pre-Christmas get together so start saving your train fare!
