Charges or advance to contact
Hi
Simple question.
Unit A is in a wood it is FL.
Unit B , which is also FL is 3.5 H away from B.
At this point in cannot see Unit A
Can Unit B advance into contact with a double move, causing it to charge?

Re: Charges or advance to contact
B can move so that he can see A and then charge with a second move once spotted. In this way A could react if allowed to do so.

Re: Charges or advance to contact
Thanks for this, but if i advance Unit B 2 h towards unit A , i am in the wood but still 1.5 h away, so i canot see unit A hence i canot charge them.?
Is that correct?
If so i would need to move again and see them then charge them. This would mean three moves?
If i make a charge the move distance would be infact 2 h ?
We played that i had to move three times, but unit A counter chareged. I
The third move was then canceled. Is that correct?

Re: Charges or advance to contact
Yes, you have to make 2 moves in this case (the target of the charge must be visibile).
And yes, 2H FL moving in a wood.
As for countercharge the coutercharger should have 1H move to do, otherwise is not possible (the charger is too close). I assume that hardly you (the charger) will stop exactly at 1H (enough to be spotted and countercharged). So in most cases you can manage not to be countercharged.
