Thematic Byzantine archers

Hi all, warbook2 army 14.4 Thematic Byzantine, gives you the option to upgrade 2 of your Skoutatoi to a large unit with archers behind. My query is: does this use up your allotment of up to 2 archer units that you can normally have in the list, or is it in addition to the 2 archers?

The upgrade affects only Skutatoi and that doesn't change neither the numbers of available skutatoi nor archers.

You can have a maximum of 4 large units - 4 skutatoi + 4 supporting archers.

If you upgrade the 2 skutatoi to VBU 5 you' ll have the same 4 + 4 (but a little stronger, of course).
The other Archers (T or S) are not affected by this.
