Rule 6.2 Example - Gothic Cavalry
Rule 6.2 (page 37 of the rules) contains an example where a unit of archers shoots at long range distance with a short bow A at a unit of Gothic cavalry, causing 2 hits. One of the modifiers applied to the cohesion test is a +1 for distance. Shouldn't that be a +2 for long distance using a short bow A?

You are correct. +2 range bonus. A possible errata but perhaps ingeniously placed by Lorenzo to get players better versed in the rules! If a player picks this up as you did that means you are learning the rules well.
