Neo Assyrian list?

i there a Neo-Assyrian list with 4 horse chariots or is the Hittite list the nearest available.

I wassurprised that the heavier Hittite chariots have no missile capability (no "various weapons").

I am working at the book 1 of the new lists and I will check this.

Hello Everyone. Can you please help? I am rebasing my 15mm early Persian and would wish to know how to base mixed bow and spear units like Sparabara. Do you put a unit of spear infront of a unit of bow or are the two mixed on one base? If so how are they defined as both missile and melee troops.

This is a tricky one, see the earlier thread in this forum at https://impetus.darkbb.com/t971-early-achaemenid-persians .

I believe the final decision was to treat sparabara as a large T unit. The front T would be represented by a rank of pavise bearing spearmen and a rank of archers. The rear T unit would be all archers. The front rank unit would usually have an impetus bonus of 1. The large unit shoots with the front base and casualties come of the rear base, until that base is removed.

I believe Lorenzo is revising the Impetus 1 lists for Impetus 2, this may well be a list that gets updated or clarified.
