Defensive Fire

Greetings,

Just joined the group and downloaded the pdfs. BI 2 looks great and after a read through, I have a couple of questions about defensive fire. That section states that the unit gets a +1 bonus for firing at mounted troops. This modifier is not on the QRS sheet that I can tell.
Is this specific to defensive fire only?
Do any modifiers from the firing modifier table apply? (i.e. CL mod).

Have played BI and Impetus on a number of occasions in the past and enjoyed them.

Yes I think your assumption is correct in that the +1 vs mounted is only for defensive fire as it's listed nowhere else.

Good question.

I'm sure that +1 for shooting at mounted is only for Defensive Fire. You roll number of dice equal to VBU without using the table for each type of weapon, where there is difference between foot and mounted.

I don't think that any other modifiers besides -1 for Disordered and +1 for mounted are used.

The modifiers for the DF shooting are missing from the QRS (which is a shame).

The Standard shooting modifiers don't apply only the two listed under 6.6 (otherwise why would it state -1 for disorder again?)
